Fallen golf great Tiger Woods is melting down and "acting like a child" behind closed doors, an insider alleged to RadarOnline.com.

"He can't handle adult conversation at all and spends hours watching kids shows on TV, making model airplanes and even collecting stamps and sticker albums," claimed the insider. "He's totally detached from the real world, it's like his mentality is that of a 10-year-old kid!"

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Woods, who didn't bother to attend the prestigious Masters Tournament in April, has become reclusive, living in self-imposed-exile at his posh Florida mansion, where the father to daughter Sam, 8, and 7-year-old son Charlie wastes endless days just hanging out.

"There's really nothing I can look forward to; nothing I can build toward," Woods recently confessed of his sad life.

And it doesn't appear Woods' situation will get better anytime soon. The former superstar player hasn't won a major tournament in three years. In the meantime, he's had to watch as his exes Elin Nordegren and Linsey Vonn both move on with their lives.

As for the golfer's big goals? "Tiger's biggest obsession right now is comic book and comic book movies — especially those of Hugh Jackman and his signature character Wolverine," the source noted. "He has become obsessed with putting together a full collection of Wolverine comics."
