Mischa Barton’s mother should be grateful her daughter dropped a scathing lawsuit against her— because the once successful momager is now completely broke!

Nuala Barton, 63, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in California on February 3 of this year, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report— and she owes nearly $6 million dollars to various creditors.

In U.S. Bankruptcy Court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Nuala claims to have less than $50,000 in assets, but says she’s unable to pay a $5.5 million debt to two mortgage companies, a $25,000 debt to a creditors bureau, and $53,000 to Bank of America.

She also acknowledges that she owes money to various attorneys and to her 30-year-old actress daughter, who sued her last year for allegedly stealing money from her for years as her manager.

As for assets, Nuala says she owns a portion of her Beverly Hills mansion, a 2013 Ford Explorer, $2,000 in cash and $500 in jewelry.

She claims she makes just $1,200 a month as a film producer for Mania LLC. However, her monthly expenses total to nearly $28,000.

In order to make ends meet, Nuala says she has held private parties in order to sell off furniture, clothing and jewelry.

The case is still ongoing.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Nuala’s famous daughter recently requested to dismiss her lawsuit against her mother a year after she called her “greedy” and exploitive.

Mischa seems to be recovering from her own financial and personal issues by landing a new gig on Dancing With the Stars.
