Teresa Giudice and her four young daughters—Gia, Milania, Audriana, and Gabriella—had to say goodbye to Joe last week when he checked into federal prison to begin his 41-month sentence for his fraud charges .
RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the Giudice girls aren't taking their dad's departure very well, and that one in particular is handling it worse than the rest.
"All the other girls are having a rough time of it, but Milania is having the hardest time," a source told RadarOnline.com.
According to the source, the 9-year-old didn't like having to say goodbye.
"Milania is taking it very hard," the source explained. "She's really upset."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Giudice's costar Dolores Catania threw a housewarming party on Friday.
But Giudice, 43, had to miss out on the soiree because she of her daughters.
"Milania was upset enough that Teresa didn't show up at filming on Friday night at Dolores's house," the source said. "Teresa had to stay home and deal with her kids."
Giudice doesn't like seeing her children heartbroken.
"Seeing her kids upset is not easy," the source noted.
But Giudice will rally later this week to attend her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga's fashion show.
"She wont miss the fashion show because there will be too many cameras," the source said. "But Friday night was at someone's house and she didn't care about that."
RadarOnline.com previously reported that when Joe, 43, turned himself at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, producers gave Giudice a temporary break from filming Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Unfortunately, Giudice won't be on hiatus long as she is expected to return to work in coming days and film scenes talking about her husband's lock-up.
