Report: Nicole Richie Livid After Joel Madden Sexting Scandal Exposed

Nicole Richie was looking through her Good Charlotte husband's phone and absolutely lost it when she discovered her was texting with another woman!
According to In Touch, Joel Madden, who is due back in Australia to shoot Season 5 of the country's version of The Voice, had received some messages from "some random girl who said she was excited to see him when he comes back to town." "It made Nicole stick to her stomach — she was livid."
According to the report, the once-happy couple is teetering on the brink of divorce after couple's therapy failed to fix the fundamental issues in their five-year marriage.
"She'd already spoken to lawyers. But this time, she had the paperwork drawn up," said the source. "She's on the verge of a breakdown."
Madden, 36, and 34-year-old Richie have been battling rumors over the state of their relationship for some time. As RadarOnline.com reported in December, Madden was spotted shopping in Beverly Hills without his wedding ring, fueling rumors of a split.
Now, "Nicole's world is falling apart and she's an emotional wreck, but she doesn't have it in her to stay in a marriage where he disrespects her feelings constantly," an insider told In Touch. "She's going through with the divorce."
