Mariah Carey 'Ready To Marry' Billionaire Boyfriend James Packer

It's been six months since Mariah Carey and her 48-year-old billionaire boyfriend James Packer fell in love aboard a yacht in off the coast of France and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she is engaged, but it wasn't exactly a surprise!
"Mariah was hoping that James would propose to her on Valentine's Day," a source close to the "Dream Lover" singer said. But he did better than that, popping the question in NYC on Thursday. Could it be time for a V-Day wedding?
"She has already told him that she is absolutely in love with him, and she is now ready to spend the rest of her life with him," the source explained.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Carey, 45, and Packer have been making waves since they first got together and, according to the insider, "She is ready to be his wife."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Carey has slimmed down a lot in recent months and showcased her hot new baby mama body on a recent vacation to St. Barth's with her two children from her previous marriage to Nick Cannon, 35: twins Monroe and Moroccan, 4.
"James just makes her happy and that is all that matters to the people around her," the source told RadarOnline.com.
"If Mariah is happy, her friends are happy. James is good for her."
