Catelynn Lowell may have given birth to daughter Novalee more than a year ago, but the Teen Mom OG star is still suffering from postpartum depression.
In a new interview, the 23-year-old newlywed said she's seeing a doctor for her "mind-crippling" symptoms.
"I didn't really know and I still don't know what's going on with my postpartum," she told Life & Style. "For a while I felt fine, but I've always suffered from depression, anxiety and panic attacks."
The MTV sweetheart claimed she's taking prescribed antidepressants, but credited husband Tyler Baltierra, 22, with lifting her up.
"Tyler is my backbone and helps me a lot," she said. "He pushes me and will make me do things like go for a walk so the depression goes away."
In sneak peeks for upcoming episodes of the hit reality series' current season, Lowell could be seen lying in bed as her family looked on helplessly.
"Is she going through some kind of postpartum?" Baltierra's mother asked in the video.
Lowell reportedly first opened up to fans about her post-baby health battle at a book signing last month.
"I recognized it nine months after Novalee was born," the author told attendees at a book signing event in New York, according to In Touch. "It's a daily struggle."
