Tyra Banks Quits 'FABLife': Mean Girls Atmosphere On Set Revealed
Nov. 23 2015, Updated 11:42 a.m. ET
The toxic atmosphere on the set of Tyra Banks' show boiled over today with the supermodel quitting FABLife, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned it was a long time coming.
The 41-year-old talk show host announced that she was exiting the ABC show just three months into production, saying that she wanted to focus "more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, TYRA Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company's other entertainment ventures."
But behind the scenes the lack of respect for Banks was obvious on set.
"The attitudes at FABLife were really mean toward Tyra," a source told RadarOnline.com.
"One of the production staff would tell people that they needed to 'laugh at her jokes even when she's not funny,' and not in a nice way. It seemed like a toxic place for her to work."
In her statement Banks said she "greatly admires my fellow co-hosts and the talented production team behind the show," but the source told RadarOnline.com tensions were high between Chrissy Teigen and Banks.

"Tyra never even looked at Chrissy when they weren't filming," the source said. "The vibe on set wasn't friendly at all. It was tense."
The source added: "Everyone seemed to undermine Tyra on her own show."
