Buying Love? Tom Cruise Misses Daughter's Wedding Non-Scientologist -- But Pays For The Ceremony!

Tom Cruise may have been absent from his daughter's low-key London wedding this September, but his credit card made an appearance as he reportedly footed the bill for the couple's nuptials!

RadarOnline.com reported Sunday that Isabella Cruise, the adopted daughter of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman wed British IT consultant Ben Parker in a ceremony so exclusive that even her father was not invited! Still, even though Cruise has allegedly not yet met Isabella's partner of less than a year, the actor generously opened his wallet to pay for the soiree, which took place at the Dorchester Hotel.

Isabella and Parker, a non-scientologist, were reportedly concerned about the press that Bella's high-profile father might attract. They therefore decided to keep the ceremony to only their close friends, to the exclusion of Tom, Bella's brother Connor, and the groom's parents as well. There are no photographs confirming that Kidman was there either, Woman's Day reported, although she was in London at the time, and is said to be "overjoyed" at her daughter's new union.
