Silver lining?
The Real Housewives of New York cast member Kristin Taekman is hoping her husband Josh's Ashley Madison cheating scandal will save her role on the Bravo reality show, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
The series' producers were planning on firing the quiet Kristin, 38, who barely spoke a word at the explosive reunion, but her very public marriage troubles could actually bring enough drama to compete with spitfire stars Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel.
"The rumors that Josh has cheated on Kristin could actually save her from getting the axe," the source tells Radar. "Kristin hadn't allowed marriage troubles to be played out in front of the cameras after her first season on the show."
"But if Kristin would be willing to allow cameras to document the fallout from the scandal, it could save her job."
Josh, 46, recently admitted he was a member of Ashley Madison after reports linked him to the marital affairs website.

"I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family," Josh said in a statement. "We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives."
Mother of two Kristin also spoke out on social media.
"Thank you all so much for your kind words and support," she simply wrote.
