Kylie Jenner fans may think the reality star’s birthday celebrations have been non-stop fun, but as it turns out, even the rich and famous are not immune from bad birthday parties! According to reports, Jenner’s Canadian 18th birthday party was a complete flop!
As RadarOnline.com reported, Jenner was paid $200k to attend the Canadian bash, which took place at Beachclub, 45 minutes outside of Quebec. Fans shelled out up to 150 Canadian dollars each to party with her, but according to attendees, the experience was quite a disappointment, with the star refusing to interact with the crowd! Erik Leijon, a Montreal based writer for Complex, dished about his experience at the party. “She made us wait for hours in the scorching heat, all because she's a solipsistic celebrity who runs on her own time,” Leijon said. “When she was finally there, just a few feet away from our camera phones, she was so professionally aloof, it infuriated everyone even further.”
It would not have been difficult for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star to make the crowd happy – all they wanted was a little bit of attention! “Had Jenner leaned over from her balcony, which was in all honesty only a few feet above our poolside platform, and high-fived us, then she wouldn't have been the infantile, terrible 18-year-old we were all expecting.” Leijon lamented. “The whole point of this was to get close to someone who otherwise wouldn't be caught dead partying with the dull normals of Pointe-Calumet.”
But as much as the throngs of sweaty onlookers seemed to be having a horrible time, perhaps the seemingly aloof Jenner was the most miserable of all. Instead of eating her $3,000 birthday cake, which had been painstakingly prepared by a local bakery, in the end she chose to push it to the ground, making a huge mess. “Most of it landed on the ground, but I did see one poor woman stumbling around afterwards with her face covered in icing.”
