The Real Housewives of New York has added prominent New York socialite Dorinda Medley to its cast.
RadarOnline.com was first to report that Medley was shaking things up in Gotham, so much so that she'd caught the ire of pal Ramona Singer, who got her foot in the door with Bravo producers.
Now the beautiful socialite will join Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, Ramona Singer and the returning Bethenny Frankel in a season Bravo is touting as in the form of "betrayal, crumbling marriages, new love and endless wild nights."
The 50-year-old Medley, speaking with the , said she won't be a fish-out-of-water mixing it up with the big city babes.

"I live on the Upper East Side, and it's a small fishbowl up here," she said. "I am not going to be that ball of yarn that came out of nowhere.
"I know these girls, I know their world, I've even done a few cameos. So I thought, why not give it a try and see if it is something that suits me?"
In fact, Medley has rubbed shoulders with the high society on more than one continent, counting the late Princess Diana as a one-time associate, when she was running DCL Cashmere, a garment company the royal was partial to.
"It was 1989," she said. "I got Princess Diana to be one of my clients, and project forward with the British classes."
She told the paper about the quality attributes she brings to the show, saying, "I think I'm creative, and I consider myself a smart woman.
"I like to see a good argument between two people. I think you learn when you argue -- it's just an expression of your opinion."
We'll get to see more than a few "good arguments" when the Real Housewives of New York City's seventh season premieres on Bravo April 7 at 9/8c.
