When Jenelle Evans' fiancé Nathan Griffith was arrested Wednesday for domestic violence, the MTV cameras were rolling and RadarOnline.com has learned that Griffith begged staffers to defend him to the cops.
A neighbor of the troubled Teen Mom 2 stars posted a picture of Griffith doing the perp walk outside of the house he and Evans rent.
And according to the source, Griffith seemed to believe MTV's presence could exonerate him.

"I heard him talking to what seemed to be a camera guy when he got arrested asking him to tell the cops that he didn't do it," the eyewitness told RadarOnline.com. "He said ' come on man tell them I didn't touch her. I didn't do anything. You know man I didn't do anything...I never touched her.'"
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Evans and Griffith were fighting Wednesday night when he allegedly ripped her engagement ring off her finger. Cops were called and he was arrested for domestic violence.
He was given a $1000 bond on Thursday, only $100 of which he has to pay to be released from jail.
