Jill Duggar's husband Derick Dillard has found himself in a controversy after posting an Instagram video in which he's sledding -- and aiming for a cat perched downhill.

"Sledding with friends and family at the Duggar home :-) #smallestsled," he posted in a surprising turn of events for the usually-wholesome 19 Kids and Counting star, who thankfully made no contact with the feline on his accelerated ride downhill.

Adding gas to the flames is that another Duggar-in-law, Jessa's husband Ben Seewald, gave the proud Wal-Mart employee a helping hand in pushing him down the hill.

Feedback was fast and furious on the page, as many wondered what upside Derick saw in the prank.

User audralou90 wrote: "Gross and inappropriate," adding that "it's cruel to scare animals and potentially cause them harm."

Another under the handle "instaaa_ang" wasn't so eloquent in her assessment of the clip.

"Wow. Are you serious?! This makes me f*cking sick. I am and have always been watchers of the show and the fact that GROWN ADULTS think it would be funny to try and sled into a cat is f*cking sick."

Readers, was this a harmless prank showcasing "cat-like instincts," or does Derick deserve some grief from PETA and other animal rights advocates over his sledding fun?
