Denied! Anna Wintour Rejects Kylie Jenner's Plea For 'Vogue' Spread — 'Not On The Same Level As Kendall'

Model looks are apparently not genetic. Kylie Jenner has posed for fashion lines and walked the runway for Kanye West's recent show, she still hasn't achieved the industry's biggest sign of success: a spot in Vogue. And although her sister Kim and Kendall have already appeared in the mag's pages, RadarOnline.com has learned that Kylie's request for a similar spot was turned down flat — and she was offered a spot in the teen version instead!
"Kylie told Kris to get her a spread in Vogue because both Kim and Kendall have been featured in the magazine," an insider told Radar. "Kendall has appeared in three consecutive issues of Vogue, and Kylie believes it's now her turn. Even though Kylie doesn't have as much modeling experience as Kendall, she thinks Vogue readers would love to read about her life."
Unfortunately for her, said the source, "Kylie has been turned down. She was offered Teen Vogue, but was less than thrilled with the offer, and is holding out for Vogue."

Meanwhile, she's taking matters into her own hands. After walking the catwalk at West's New York Fashion Week show earlier this month,"Kylie went out of her way to talk to Anna Wintour backstage," said the source. “The Vogue editor was extremely gracious to her, and wished Kylie good luck. But Kylie just isn't on the same level of a model as Kendall is, and there is nothing wrong with that. There should be no expectation that just because of her family connections to Vogue, she will score a spot in the magazine."
