Bruce Jenner’s Sons Rally Around Him As Gender ‘Issues’ Grow — Inside His Desperate Struggle
Jan. 16 2015, Published 12:22 p.m. ET
Bruce Jenner’s family is stepping up their support amid new reports he’s set to go public with his transformation. One source tells RadarOnline.com that his sons Brandon and Brody, in particular, recognize the former Olympic athlete is struggling with gender identity issues — and hope that the resulting media storm won’t be too much for him to bear.
“It's obvious to anyone that he is struggling with gender identity issues,” the insider said.
Indeed, on Wednesday, a celebrity magazine featured Bruce on the cover, with lipstick, and long hair.
"The magazine cover didn't come as a surprise to the brothers, but they both feel it's very insensitive to the LGBT community,” the family source revealed. "Both Brandon and Brody are both very strong supporters of LGBT people. They’re standing by their dad through this."
According to In Touch magazine, Bruce “will come clean in 2015 about transitioning.”

An insider close to the 65-year-old reality star tells the magazine, “This will be the year of his coming out. He knows that people have recognized his changes, and he’s finally becoming more comfortable with himself and his choice to become a woman.”
And in typical Jenner-Kardashian family fashion, the big reveal will allegedly be accompanied by a splashy photoshoot.
“When Bruce goes public, he wants to go big and come out as a transwoman on the cover of The Advocate, the ultimate LGBT magazine,” a source told In Touch. “He wants to look as glamorous as possible— full makeup with a bold wardrobe.”
In the meantime, the insider told Radar, "Brandon and Brody will continue to support their dad, and if does indeed, make the transition to being a woman, their feelings for him won't change."
