The judgment against Alway could have been a lot worse. The once-aspiring model was charged with over a dozen other counts, including resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance, but they were dismissed in a plea deal.
Alway has been in custody ever since she was arrested in the summer of 2013 after someone called police to report a “suspicious female” in a Palm Springs neighborhood. Responding officers found Alway hiding in the garage of a home in the area.
