Her name is Lilo and she dances on the sand! Lindsay Lohan traded for the recording studio this week in London, as she was spotted in the studio with Duran Duran. Now, RadarOnline.com can exclusively confirm that the 28-year-old actress and her sister, Ali Lohan, 20, “just got done recording with Duran Duran for their upcoming album!”
On Dec. 8,. Lohan posted a photo on her Instagram of herself and her younger sister, along with Simon Le Bon, 56, and Nick Rhodes, 52, of Duran Duran, with a caption that read, ‘#DuranDuran @alianalohan recording with some greats!!!'
“Lindsay and Ali did vocals for Duran Duran’s new album,” the insider says. “The band reached out to them because they know that in order to get people to listen to their new stuff and attract a younger demographic, they needed to do something that would get people to want to buy.”
“They were all very pleased with the outcome,” the friend tells Radar.
As Radar previously reported, Lohan, who has released two albums already — “Speak" in 2004, and "A Little More Personal" in 2005 – is ultimately hoping for a career comeback.
“She is basically trying to pick up exactly where she left off five years ago before she walked away from it all,” the source says. “Lindsay just really hopes that people are going to welcome her back and allow her to prove that she has what it takes to be successful again."
