‘Saved By The Bell’ Actor Dustin Diamond Arrested On Switchblade Charge

Saved By The Bell actor Dustin Diamond was thrown in a Wisconsin jail early Friday for possession of a switchblade knife, first degree recklessly endangering safety and carrying a concealed weapon, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The Save By the Bell star faces an Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, judge Friday afternoon, according to a Port Washington, Wisconsin, police spokeswoman.

Details of the incident that led to Diamond’s arrest will be revealed at the arraignment, the police spokeswoman told RadarOnline.com.

Diamond is best known for his iconic character, “Screech."

Update:

Cops told RadarOnline.com that Diamond allegedly stabbed another man with a switchblade during a bar fight. Diamond, 37, “left the bar in a white SUV with his 27-year-old girlfriend,” a Port Washington, Wisconsin, police spokesman said. “Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and suspects and took both into custody. The knife was recovered in his vehicle.”

The bloody brawl happened just before midnight in Port Washington’s Grand Avenue Saloon, police said.

“The victim suffered not life threatening wounds, has been treated, and is recovering at home,” according to a statement.

The actor is ailed on charges of possession of a switchblade knife, first degree recklessly endangering safety and carrying a concealed weapon, police said. Diamond faces an Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, judge Friday afternoon.

His girlfriend, who was not named in the police statement, was booked and released,
