Bill Murray is a giver of life lessons in St. Vincent, a comedy also starring Melissa McCarthy and Naomi Watts in which a young boy finds solace with a misanthropic war veteran next door (Murray) after his parents get divorced.

In a clip obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, viewers can watch Murray teach the boy all about the working world – by having him mow his dirt lawn.

“Why is he mowing your dirt patch?” McCarthy asks.
