Although they have a similar name, GQ US is letting the world know that it is different from British GQ.
The latter publication recently named Kim Kardashian “Woman of the Year,” but the U.S. version did not agree with that decision! American GQ has been on the Twitter defensive all day Monday responding to people’s angry tweets about the reality star’s award.

Twitter users have been causing a storm as of late, calling Kim’s award a “mistake” and an “error.” User @travi44 even described it as “an error in judgment” while @stevecook_32 tweeted, “I held y'all to a higher standard that's all. Woman of the year!? For what?” But instead of ignoring the influx of hateful comments, GQ US has responded to the outcry in a way that shows it wants nothing to do with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s award.
