Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their families are "delighted” about the news, according to the Clarence House office.
Kate, 32, was also sidelined with the same illness while she was pregnant with now-toddler Prince George. The illness will cause cancellations in her upcoming schedule, including an Oxford trip that was slated for Monday.
Regarding the royal pecking order, Kate and Will’s new baby will fall fourth in line, in back of brother George and in front of Prince Harry.
British Prime Minister David Cameron said he's "delighted by the happy news that they're expecting another baby."
