Dustin Johnson is serving a six-month suspension from the PGA Tour after reportedly testing positive for cocaine, but this isn’t the first time the hard-partying golfer has been in trouble.

In March 2009, the pro was arrested and charged with driving under the influence near his hometown in Horry County, S.C., and the entire incident was caught on tape. In the police dashboard video, Johnson, then 24, carefully exits his SUV when approached by officers, but quickly loses his composure when asked to walk in line during a field sobriety test.

As the cop counts to ten, the golfer, dressed in jeans and a white shirt, clearly stumbles multiple times. The officer promptly cuffs the athlete, and escorts him into the police cruiser.

Johnson said in a statement after the incident, “I made an error in judgment that I deeply regret. I have let myself down and others who support me. I am handling the matter privately, and rest assured, I will definitely learn from my mistake.”

Sadly, the 30-year-old who’s engaged to NHL legend Wayne Gretsky’s model’s 25-year-old daughter Paulina, didn’t seem to learn anything: According to Golf.com’s report, Johnson has since failed three drug tests administered by the PGA Tour, including twice for cocaine, and once for marijuana.

In the police dashboard video, Johnson, then 24, carefully exits his SUV when approached by officers, but quickly loses his composure when asked to walk in line during a field sobriety test.

“I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced,” he said after revealing his lengthy suspension.

Does Johnson deserve to be suspended? Sound off in the comments.
