Britney Spears has confirmed herself that she and boyfriend David Lucado have broken up for good. The “I Wanna Go” singer tweeted, “Ahhhh the single life!” Thursday afternoon, putting any idea that she and her boyfriend of 18 months were still together.

"Yes, she's single," her rep told RadarOnline.com.

But a source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that the reason the couple split is because the singer found out about a video that captures Lucado cheating on her. In the video, he appears to be dancing and making out with another woman.

“Britney became aware of the video two days ago, and broke up with David,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “She was truly surprised and is devastated by the betrayal.

“However, David is prohibited from discussing any relationship details or anything about Britney because he signed a confidentiality agreement,” the source added.
