Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey just sold their massive Bel-Air estate for $13 million, and according to insiders, the famous couple is headed to the east coast— for good!

The America’s Got Talent host, and his superstar wife are going to settle in her hometown of New York City, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

“She prefers New York to Los Angeles, and she loves their home there,” a source tells RadarOnline.com of the 44-year-old, who owns a gorgeous triplex penthouse in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood. “She’s happier in New York.”

San Diego native Cannon, 33, is also excited to head east, but for more professional than personal reasons.

“He shoots American’s Got Talent there, and runs a lot of his businesses out of New York,” the insider explains of the Teen Nick chairman. “It’s so much easier.”

The couple, who wed near Carey’s Windermere, Bahamas vacation home in 2008, also believe the Big Apple is the best place to raise their three-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
