Before the big celebration on May 10, the rapper — who is expecting a baby girl with New York-based rapper Mr. Papers — came under fire for tweeting to fans about where she was registered, which included Tiffany & Co., Petit Tresor, Bel Bambini, Buy Buy Baby and Babies ‘R' Us.
“Please make sure they check off your gift from the registry after purchase. Thank u guys so much,” her assistant added, with an address on where to send all the gifts.
Among the items she asked fans to shell out for is a $500 Tiffany & Co. sterling silver baby cup and more than $4,885 worth of items on the baby registry on buy buy BABY.
“Do you really need your fans to buy your baby shower gifts? Tacky,” one user wrote on Instagram, while others seemed more than willing to fork up the cash for Kim’s mini-me.

“She wanted her fans to get involved,” the source insisted to RadarOnline.com.
Once the big day arrived, the hip-hop star, born Kimberly Denise Jones, continued with the diva behavior by making a fashionably late arrival to her NYC baby shower, which was designed by celebrity event planner David Tutera.
“Kim was four hours late to her own baby shower!” an insider told Radar. "Guests were told to arrive at 4p.m., and she got there at 8p.m.. Everyone was annoyed, but it was expected of Kim to be so late."
When the Queen Bee finally arrived with her baby's father, the parents-to-be put on quite a show by tongue kissing in front of the cameras.
“After she finally arrived, everyone had a blast. It was a good vibe, great people, and Kim looked so happy,” the source said. “She’s very in love with her man.”
