A former waitress at Lisa Vanderpump's Villa Blanca, who’s suing the British beauty for sexual harassment which allegedly occurred at the upscale eatery, is objecting to the reality star’s plans to call Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Jancan, as a character witness at the upcoming trial, RadarOnline.com exclusively reports.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, lawyers for Karina Bustillos object to Vanderpump's decision to call Scheana, who also works at Villa Blanca and would testify about the alleged sexual harassment incident.
The documents state Scheana "never witnessed any incident involving Ms. Bustillos. Being called to provide improper character evidence and possible inadmissible good character evidence with respect to the defendants which is inadmissible under the evidence code."
Lawyers for Bustillos also oppose Vanderpump plans to call a slew of other staffers from Villa Blanca because they "were not identified as a witness in discovery."
The judge will determine if Scheana will testify during a final status conference which is scheduled on Tuesday, May 13.
The trial is scheduled to begin on May 27.
