Where's Kim? Kanye West Storms NYC Fashion Week Parties Without Kardashian

Does absence really make the heart grow fonder? Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will find out just in time for Valentine's Day, since West left Kardashian behind in L.A. while he jetted to New York for Fashion Week. Wednesday night, he hit the ground running, attending several parties across the city.

West started his night off out in Brooklyn, where he attended a premiere for the film River of Fundament at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Perhaps missing his baby mama, West was noticeably sulky throughout the event. But his daughter North was close to his heart: He wore a gold chain that read "Nori" over his chunky sweater. Kardashian has a matching piece of bling.

From there, he headed on to rapper pal Rick Ross' listening party at Carbone restaurant around midnight, where he posed for pics with the guest of honor, as well as rapper DJ Khaled and Yankees slugger CC Sabathia.

Kardashian, meanwhile, was back in L.A. sending out a Twitpic of her mother, Kris Jenner pole-dancing for Woman Crush Wednesday and filming new episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians with sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.

As RadarOnline.com has reported, Kim's stepdad Bruce Jenner will continue filming the show despite rumors he would take some time off in light of his drastic physical transformation.
