Prince William and Kate Middleton wanting their son Prince George's Oct. 23 christening to be an "intimate, family affair," have surprisingly omitted a notable number of royal relatives from the guest list, RadarOnline.com has learned.
That list includes the prince's aunts Princess Anne and Sophie, Countess of Wessex; and uncles Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, among others, MailOnline.com reports.
The glaring omissions come as the young couple has decided to take an alternate route, passing on holding it at Buckingham Palace to opt for the "small, intimate and personal" setting of Chapel Royal in St James's Palace, royal insiders told the publication.
