Lamar Odom has formally pled not guilty to DUI charges stemming from his August 30 arrest, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The 33-year-old ex-NBA star wasn't in court at the Van Nuys courthouse in Los Angeles, where his attorney, Richard Hutton, entered the plea on his behalf.

The estranged husband of Khloe Kardashian has hired two attorneys to fight criminal charges after he was pulled over on Los Angeles' 101 Freeway after showing "objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated," according to police.

Odom refused to submit to further chemical tests after his arrest, which led to a one-year suspension of his license.

In addition to co-counsel Hutton, famed criminal defense attorney Robert Shapiro is working as the lead attorney in Team Odom.

As we previously reported, Odom has been dealing with addiction issues and a troubled marriage to his E! reality television star wife.
