Heidi Klum is on the move. The model mom-of-four is downsizing and has snapped up a six-bedroom Bel Air mansion for $9.875 million and RadarOnline.com has all the photos and details.
The Project Runway star’s new home is a tad cheaper – and smaller – than the 12,300 square-foot mock-Med villa that she bought for $14.2 million shortly before she split from her estranged husband Seal last year.
That 8-bedroom home covers 12 acres, boasts 9.5 bathrooms and is nestled in an exclusive gated enclave in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to The Real Estalker, Klum's new home is in the more upscale Bel Air neighborhood. The three-story red brick mansion was custom built in 2000 and covers 11,600 square-feet.
The property features a long private driveway and a center hall foyer with wooden floors and a floating staircase.
The 40-year-old and her brood can relax in what are described as “graciously scaled” formal living and dining rooms. Both have wooden floors and a fireplace. The home also includes a wine cellar, a gym/dance studio, a media room and an eat-in kitchen with marble counter tops.
Ed Weinberger – an Emmy-award winning writer and producer who worked on Taxi and The Cosby Show – was the previous owner.
