Charlie Hunnam has had to pull out of the title role in Fifty Shades of Grey and that's thrown the movie into turmoil.
"The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey," the two studios behind the film version of the erotic thriller said in a surprise announcement on Saturday.
Hunnam stars on Sons of Anarchy on the F/X Channel and he was expected to lead Fifty Shades through potentially several movies.
The Hollywood industry website The Wrap is calling the Hunnam development a "major problem" for a film that already has a scheduled release date.
