Bells may be ringing soon for Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie Douthit and her baby daddy Josh McKee, but just 10 days before her wedding, Mackenzie found herself facing a medical scare that landed her in the hospital for several days.

“Great life of a brittle diabetic... thanks for your prayers,” Mackenzie instagramed on August 7.

Mackenzie, who will walk down the aisle on August 17, posted a collage of herself hooked up to an IV, with bandages attached to her arms and around one of her big toes.

But Mackenzie was surrounded by her loved ones as she spent a few nights in a hospital bed.

“Not gonna lie I like this slumber party with josh and my mom right now. #partyatthehospital” she tweeted.

And she still got some wedding planning done while she was in her medical gown.

“While im bored and in the hospital and trying to plan my wedding, i want opinions of some good songs for a country wedding... ready go” Mackenzie tweeted.

But what caused Mackenzie to end up in the hospital in the first place?

It sounds like the stress of wedding planning and the anticipation of the upcoming premiere of Teen Mom 3 on August 26 pushed Mackenzie over her limits.

“Tried not letting stress get to me but... here I am,” she tweeted on Aug. 6. “In the hospital for a couple of days.”
