Alec Baldwin Is A New Dad, Teen Daughter Ireland Writes Advice Letter To Her Baby Sister

Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria became new parents on Friday, welcoming a daughter, Carmen, into the world.
And her big sister, Ireland -- Alec's 17-year-old daughter with Kim Basinger -- welcomed the infant into the world with a heartfelt letter full of advice and love.
"I love you, Carmen. You have been born into one crazy family. You are both lucky and cursed at the same time," Ireland wrote on her Tumblr page.
The stunning teen model, who was the subject of one of the nastiest custody battles in Hollywood history, also culled from her own story and told Carmen that when parents "are screaming about this and bickering about that. It hurts. Grown ups yell. I don't know why, but they do. No matter what your mom or Dad says or does, simply remember that they love the shit out of you. NEVER forget it. "
Ireland also warned Carmen about drinking and smoking pot, boys and school, and always telling the truth -- "lying is for cowards."
It's chock full of advice Ireland wishes someone had given her, with the promise that she'll continue providing it,
"I will always be there for you" Ireland tells Carmen.
