Melissa Gorga Praises Dr. V For Dousing Fiery Family Feud With Teresa Giudice

After her unlikely make-up with Teresa Giudice on The Real Housewives of New Jersey as of late, Melissa Gorga took to her Bravo blog Monday to praise the work of Dr. Venus Nicolino -- a.k.a. Dr. V. -- for her healing powers in the complicated relationship between the women and their spouses.

Dr. V. "was born with a gift to cut through the bulls***," Melissa wrote, noting that when the talking first began, she "was completely fed up" with the Giudices and their antics, "but Dr. V was able to break down our walls.

"She looked each of us in the eye and said, 'Sit down, shut up, and listen.' She got right down to it. She was 100% correct that we need to communicate better, listen more, yell less, and discuss our issues face-to-face, not behind each other’s backs."

Melissa somewhat admitted her own wrongdoings, saying that through Dr. V, she's gained new techniques to cope with the family drama should something else arise.

"At the end of the day, trust is going to take more time to repair, but we have to have each other’s backs, and Dr. V reminded us of that," she wrote. "When people hug and make up, for me, it’s done. The slate is clean.

"You can’t forget everything that happened, but you start from a new baseline each time. A new beginning is a new beginning."

And while the ongoing fighting between Melissa and her sister-in-law might have made for reality TV gold, the sexy star says peace is her "natural set point.
