Superstars such as Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and Ciara took the stage at Sunday's 2013 BET Awards at Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles, which included a smattering of electric performances, and a tribute to the great Charlie Wilson, who took home the lifetime achievement award.
"Charlie Wilson is soul music," Timberlake said as he presented the 60-year-old music vet with the honors. "His impact colors the work of many artists, which is basically my nice way of saying I and a lot of other artists have stolen from him."
Other banner names paying tribute to Wilson Sunday included Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx, Pharrell and Snoop Dogg.
With T.I.'s and Pharrell's help, Thicke delivered a hyper version of his summer smash hit, Blurred Lines.
