It pays to be a Real Housewives of New York City when you can rent a townhouse for $20,000 a month just to film in and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that that’s exactly what Aviva Drescher did this week.
The stunning blonde reality show star was locked in an intense negotiation with Bravo over her contract, but now that she’s signed the deal she’s moved into a swanky new apartment in Manhattan where she’ll be able to film at home during the next season of RHONYC.
Aviva attended the NewYork.com launch party where she said she had just finished unpacking her boxes of luxury items.
“I’ve been moving all day,” Aviva, in a stunning purple dress, revealed to Tom Murro when he asked about her busy day.
A friend close to Aviva explained the reasons for the move from one swanky address to another.
“She has a growing family and they needed more space. They were lucky enough to find this amazing townhouse and it worked out perfectly that they can film in there too.”

According to a source she is paying a pretty penny for the new digs.
“Aviva is shelling out about $20,000 a month renting her new place and she’s saying that she’s happy that she’ll be able to film the show in her new home.”
That Bravo raise must be nice!
