Pint-sized stylist to the stars, Rachel Zoe, is furious with Bravo executives for scheduling her former assistant Brad Goreski's reality show, It's a Brad Brad World, to air straight after hers, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
"Rachel just can't escape Brad!" A source close to the situation tells Radar. "The two had parted on good terms initially, but she felt he was very shady about branching out on his own as a stylist and then getting his own reality show. Rachel is furious that his show will be airing directly after The Rachel Zoe Project. She just thinks it's tacky and in poor taste."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Zoe credits herself with having made a star out of Goreski, but fears she also created a backstabbing monster.
“It seems that Brad's obsessed with making Rachel look like the villain, and he plans to let out all his grievances on television,” a source previously told Radar, just prior to the first season of Brad's show premiering. “It’s going to get ugly, and there is no way Rachel will be able to avoid confrontation, which is exactly what Brad wants.”
However, the source says Zoe shouldn't get her designer duds in too much of a twist because when it comes down to it there's really no competition between Rachel and Brad's shows!
"Rachel's show is an hour long and Brad's is only 30 minutes," the source says. "Rachel has a huge following and is a household name, whereas Brad is still relatively unknown — there's really no competition.
"Rachel doesn't even know who Brad is anymore, but having to do press to promote her show could likely lead to awkward questions about hers and Brad's past relationship. She just doesn't want to deal with that anymore, it's a closed chapter, she moved on a very long time ago."
A rep for Bravo had no comment.
The new season of The Rachel Zoe Project premieres Wednesday, March 6 at 9/8c on Bravo. It’s A Brad Brad World follows at 10/9c.
