Two acting greats are single again – Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen have split, according to a new report.
McAdams, 34, and Sheen, 44, decided to call it quits on their romance after two years of dating, according to US Weekly.
The couple met in October of 2010 on the set of the Woody Allen’s romantic comedy Midnight in Paris, but McAdams -- perhaps best known for the 2004 heart tugging drama The Notebook -- has gone on the record to state they only started dating after the film had wrapped.

"Michael and I didn't get together while we were filming Midnight in Paris, which I feel strongly about not doing when I'm working. We became quite good friends, which I think is a great way to start," The Canadian-born McAdams told The Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine in January of 2012. "I felt very blessed to have made a Woody Allen film in Paris together."
Both McAdams and the Welsh-born Sheen have previously had high profile romances – she previously dated Ryan Gosling, while Sheen -- perhaps best known for the Twilight films and for 2008’s Frost/Nixon -- romanced Kate Beckinsale for eight years; the former couple has a daughter together.
