Not just anyone walks into a restaurant and is greeted by a round of applause, but that's how First Lady Michelle Obama rolls.
Upon entering Chicago hot-spot RPM Italian, owned by Giuliana and Bill Rancic, on Wednesday night with a girlfriend, FLOTUS was showered with applause by diners both as she entered and exited, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
"Michelle looked chic in all black, and was surprised when the room of diners erupted in applause as she waved to her fellow Chicagoans before entering a private dining room," an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com.
"Diners applauded as she left, as well!"
The First Lady is in the Windy City to celebrate the third anniversary of her anti-obesity program, Let's Move, and will join Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Nike president Mark Parker, tennis pro Serena Williams and Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas on Thursday for a special event to mark the occasion.
"Honored to have you dine with us tonight @MichelleObama!" RPM tweeted Wednesday night.
