Kanye West got a dose of his own medicine at Sunday's 2012 BET Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Kim Kardashian's boyfriend and Jay-Z won the video of the year award for Otis, edging Jay-Z's wife Beyonce, who was twice nominated in the category. During their acceptance speech, Jay-Z jokingly interrupted Kanye, bringing back memories of when Kanye did the same thing to Taylor Swift after she beat Beyonce for an MTV award in 2009.
"Excuse me Kanye, I'm gonna let you continue, but ...," said Beyonce's husband, who also took home the best group award Sunday with West.
Elsewhere Sunday, the late Whitney Houston was well remembered throughout the broadcast, with the most emotional moment coming when her mother Cissy sang Bridge Over Troubled Water in her memory.
