Kim Kardashian's wants a different sort of new year.
"I wanna be more simple in 2012," the reality queen tweeted.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star did show a bit of that resolution on the red carpet for Tao Nightclub Saturday night.
Hosting the hot club's New Year's Eve bash, Kim wore a relatively low-key white mini dress, and topped it off with a new 'do. Her jet black hair was long and straight with bangs.

She also wore simple silver bangle bracelets.
Kim's arm candy from the previous NYE, Kris Humphries, seems almost a distant memory. Except for that pesky divorce, of course.
