Sinead O'Connor – One Day After Throwing In The Towel On Marriage
Dec. 28 2011, Published 3:00 p.m. ET
We’ve got these new images of Sinead O'Connor, who was seen outside her Bray, Ireland home Tuesday wearing nothing but a towel, before changing into a T-shirt-and-jeans get-up.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer -- who famously tore a picture of Pope John Paul II on Saturday Night Live in 1992 -- wore a shirt that read “Property of Jesus” and blue jeans.
The 45-year-old mother-of-four is back in the news after a whirlwind marriage to Barry Herridge that began December 8 in Las Vegas and apparently ended with the announcement on her website Monday.
O'Connor, on her website, glumly wrote that “within 3 hours of the ceremony being over, the marriage was kyboshed by the behavior of certain people in my husband's life.”
O'Connor was previously married to music producer John Reynolds in 1989, journalist Nicholas Sommerlad in 2001 and musician Steve Cooney in 2010.
