Most young stars conform to Hollywood's standard of skinny. But Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are stepping away from the pack — and publicly embracing their curves.
"I don't wanna be shaped like a girl," singer Miley tweeted. "I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies, your man wont mind either."
And she even pointed out the damage caused by the pressure to be thin. "By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people," Miley wrote, along with a photo of a girl evidently suffering from an eating disorder. The "Party in the USA" singer also came to Demi's defense when critics attacked her.
"I will destroy any one that ever calls you the F word," Miley tweeted of the 19-year-old, who went to rehab for bulimia this year. "You have the SEXIIIESTTTT curvyyyy body! I LOVE IT!" Demi returned the compliment, tweeting, "SO DO YOU!!! And whoever called you fat has it coming."
