Taylor and Russell Armstrong had been living in a rental house when filming began on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
While fellow housewives, Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof live in mega-mansions in gated communities, the Armstrong's lived in the Bel Air Crest area of Los Angeles, which isn't Beverly Hills.
Russell's attorney, Ronald Richards, tells us: "The house was no more than $9k per month, at the most." The Bel Air Crest isn't considered as desirable as Bel Air or the 90210.
Debt that Russell accumulated during his marriage to Taylor, could be her responsibility. Richards says: "This was most likely going to be a no asset divorce because neither one of them have any. There just isn't any money, period."
Prior to her marriage to Russell, Taylor had been a surgical sales representative, and a source says, she will have to go back to work. "Taylor has to go back to work, period. She has a kid to feed, and Taylor has very expensive taste. Taylor has family in Orange County so she might move in with them. It's just to soon to make those decisions."

It doesn't appear that Russell had a life insurance policy. "I asked that question and no one I know is aware of one," Russell's attorney says.
Russell's body was discovered Monday in the bedroom of a friend's home in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office Wednesday ruled his death a suicide by hanging. He was 47.
The couple has a 5-year-old daughter Kennedy.
