Selena Gomez said she's "doing much better" on Good Morning America Friday, as the singer stopped by and debuted her hit song Love You Like a Love Song, and opened up about her recent health scare.

"I just have need to take better care of myself," the 18-year-old singer said. "I was very low on Iron, and I was dehydrated. I was just exhausted."

Gomez, who is dating teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, says she was once scared to have her love life in the tabloids, but now she pays it little attention.

"I'm young. I spent the the first three years hiding and being terrified of things like that. But I'm human. I read it so I know what's being said."

After appearing on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on June 9, the singer was rushed to the hospital.
