R. Kelly Sued For Fraud By Former Manager

R. Kelly's former manager, Jeff Kwatinetz of Prospect Management, is suing the singer for breach of oral contract and fraud, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
Kwatinetz claims that at the height of R. Kelly's criminal case for child pornography, he agreed to rep the embattled singer with the understanding that he would receive a 15% commission deal.
DOCUMENTS: R. Kelly Sued For Fraud By Former Manager
The court docs state that Kelly withheld commission money and that Prospect Management couldn't be paid because: "Monies were needed for payments to avoid lawsuits and adverse publicity resulting from Kelly's alleged conduct."
The lawsuit is seeking one million dollars in damages, access to Kelly's accounting books, and other costs associated with the lawsuit.
Kelly was acquitted of all criminal charges in 2008, following a six-year legal battle, he had faced 15 years in prison.
