'White Collar' Star Sharif Atkins Wants Kids To Smile

Sharif Atkins is Operation Smile's newest 'Smile Ambassador,' and the actor is determined to help the charity's efforts to provide free surgeries for kids born with cleft lips and cleft palates.

Atkins plays an FBI agent on the hit USA Network series, White Collar, and he's gotten his show and his network involved in his fundraising efforts.

He's launched an online giveaway, where one supporter will win a trip to New York, where they will join him for lunch and a tour of the set.

Sharif is asking his fans to visit his personal fundraising campaign on Crowdrise at and help him raise $4800, which can provide surgery for 20 children around the world.

Everyone who donates to Operation Smile through Sharif’s Crowdrise page will be entered to win the trip to New York City and visit to the White Collar set.

“You can see the pain of these children in their eyes and through their tears,” Sharif said. “I am personally committed to making a difference in their lives, and helping Operation Smile give new smiles and hope.”
