Newlywed Reese Witherspoon spent Mother's day in a traditional fashion by taking her family to church.

The Water For Elephants star joined husband Jim Toth and her two kids Ava and Deacon for their regular Sunday church service.

But despite the unglamorous accessory she still managed to look stunning in a high-waisted skirt and loose fitting blouse.

Her new husband, head of the film department at the giant talent agency CAA, was a complete gentleman and helped the injured star into the car as they headed home.
