Princess Beatrice’s wacky Royal wedding hat went up for auction Thursday on eBay and has already garnered a first bid of £5,000 – which is $7,120.75!

The outrageous headpiece was made by London mat hatter Philip Treacy and the winning bid will be donated to UNICEF and Children in Crisis.
“UNICEF and Children in Crisis are thrilled to be working with Princess Beatrice to raise as much money as possible for children around the world,” UNICEF spokesperson Patrick McCormick told RadarOnline.com.
