Former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks is clearly ready for summer!

The 21-year-old AI season six-winner posted a sexy shot of herself on Twitter Sunday showing off her rockin' bikini bod.

Sparks  -- whose  shed 30 lbs  --  looked proud to pose in her blue and orange polka dot bikini top and bottom.

To accompany her racy pic, she wrote: I don't know why but my bathing suit reminds me of fruity pebbles. :)

After winning America’s most popular singing competition, Sparks vowed that she would not get caught-up in the Hollywood obsession for looking thin.

In 2009, she said: “I love food and I love my curves. I'm very strong-willed, and I'm stubborn in that sense to where I'm just like 'No, I won't be that way’.”

But clearly she has been hitting the gym and watching what she eats with her defined abs and much thinner thighs.

She also used her Twitter account on Sunday  to talk to her fans about Osama bin Laden being killed by American Special Forces in Pakistan.

She wrote: Is the news true??? If so, praise the Lord! Hopefully closure for so many! - Ground Zero...I can feel the energy through my tv. It's electrifying - Such a crazy night. Goodnight twittlets!

Sparks  --  who is also known for her hit No Air --  is currently working on her third studio album.
